Deleting your account Hosting accounts must be deactivated before they can be deleted. Deactivating your account will take down all websites on it and remove all domain names, but your files, databases and other settings will be retained until the account is fully deleted. To deactivate your hosting account: Login to the client area. Go to the Accounts list. Click the account you want to delete. Go to the Account Settings page in the sidebar. Scroll down to the Deactivate Account section. Click the deactivate button and confirm your request. Wait for the deactivation to complete (this usually takes around 10 minutes). Once deactivated, you can delete the account permanently. If you don’t delete it manually, deactivated accounts are automatically deleted after 60 days.
